Liz Rodriguez

I am Liz and I have lived in Idaho my whole life. I went to a small school and like most teenagers I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do as an adult. It took a couple of years before I decided I wanted to pursue a career in barbering. I attended and graduated from Boise Barber College in 2013. After graduating, I worked for a haircutting chain for five years. I decided it was time to spread my wings and an opportunity arose in Nampa at a shop and I took it. I wanted to adventure out into the Boise area and I came across The Barber Story and thought it was a shop for me.

I like to do any kind of cut anyone throws at me because I see that it’s a new adventure and the best way to build up my skills and experience in barbering. Plus, I like to learn new styles that are coming out in the industry. I feel like creativity is an amazing trait to use and having being a barber. I like when clients challenge my creativity skills and trusting me with their cuts.

Besides barbering, I enjoy traveling and spending time outdoors. Camping with family and friends is always an adventure I am up for anytime along with fishing.
