2018 Best of Boise Winner (Thank You, Boise)

I remember something my barber instructor, Charles, told me when I was still in school. He said, "I don't ever want to be the best, there's too much pressure to stay on top. I'd rather just get recognized as being one of the best."

The results of Boise Weekly's 2018 Best of Boise have just been announced, and The Barber Story was announced as 3rd place. Huge congratulations to The Beardsmith and Craftsman Unlimited for their announcements as well. Those are some gorgeous shops with great positive culture, and outstanding owners and barbers working there. 

I'm a little dumbfounded, to be honest. All I wanted was to create a place that I could hang out, have some great conversations, and play video games with friends. This place has evolved into so much more in just six short months, and it wouldn't have been possible without the support of everyone who walks through our front doors, so from the bottom of my heart, thank you. 

We've done a good bit of the work, but there's a lot more yet to come. The three of us have been feeling the squeeze of demand, and we've talked about the need to fill the 4th chair.........so here's a surprise second announcement.

The Barber Story is now accepting applications for a 4th barber. Inquiry at 116 N. Latah.
